| Jim Campbell Main area of work large scale paintings of people and places making the ordinary extraordinary. Also traditional sculpture and also one off temporary sculpture that is specific to an area or community I have been working as a community arts worker now for 12 years since graduating from Jordanhill College with a Community Arts degree in 1993. Presently working with the diverse arts Group at the Glasgow Gay and lesbian Centre in Glasgow an was a founding member of the Group in 1998. Also completed on large mural for a local community centre in the Sighthill area of Glasgow and presently working with projects throughout Glasgow. In 2004 won the Trades House for 2 dimensional work and produced four outdoor sculptures for the Hidden Gardens at the Tramway Theatre as part of my final year of HND Public Art at Anniesland College. |
